SUPERFOOD & SPECTRAL PARK TO SUPPORT SPLASHH

Superfood have been confirmed as main support to Splashh at Club Psychedelia on Friday 7th June. If you need one example of how exciting and prolific Birmingham's B-town scene has been over the last 12- months then superfood are it, fresh from touring with Peace we are delighted to add these guys to the show!
Also added to the line-up Spectral Park, the project of Luke Donovan. Spectral Park combines sampling and furious garage pop into a psychedelic onslaught. The Southampton, England-based multi-instrumentalist rescued a box of old records he found on the curb, then sampled and tweaked these sounds into songs that captured the galloping thrust of the Amboy Dukes and the wild sonics of legendary producer Joe Meek. The first taste of Spectral Park arrived in late 2011 with the Factory Peeled EP, which featured the jangly cut "Pale Glistens." Early in 2012, Donovan released the "L'Appel du Vide" single, a manic piece of psych-pop that was a harbinger of Spectral Park's self-titled debut album, which Mexican Summer issued in February 2013.
